Bassel Omar represents Essam El Din Legal Consultancy’s commitment to developing the next generation of lawyers and building a modern approach to business litigation. Alongside his legal responsibilities, Bassel plays an important role in the firm’s day-to-day legal operations, taking on responsibilities that extend beyond the traditional role of a senior associate.

His legal experience includes employment, real estate and commercial disputes, shareholder disputes before GAFI and the Egyptian courts, enforcement of foreign judgments, commercial fraud and consumer protection disputes, as well as cybercrime matters. He also assists clients with contracts, legal opinions and assessments of potential disputes.

As part of the firm’s commitment to modernizing the way legal work is managed and delivered, Bassel has been involved in developing the firm’s digital case-management system, bringing greater structure and efficiency to the management of cases and the firm’s day-to-day legal operations.

His role reflects the firm’s broader vision of combining legal expertise, technology and the development of young lawyers to build a modern and effective business litigation practice.
